aka, fairly jealous guy. cause his little sis just got a piece of work called MACbook. signed by pro, this thing is in my dreams. as many of you know, but for those who dont....after purchasing the same model /size (previous generation) of the laptop, it happened to fine its way to the apple juice... after spending 3 months to work for a fully new one, i invested in a small, modest, black macbook. now that she has this computer i just have to look at it for a few minutes before i am satisfied. i know i probably sound like a nerd right now talking about the new calculator that just came out...but this is what im in to. check it.

oh dang. its mostly sarcasm.

high school.

ooohh.. so isnt high school work? i just ABSOLUTELY HATE waking up at 5 am. yeah its terrible and shouldnt be leagal.... but aside from that, high school is definitely work. although many of the 11 o'clock nights are due to facebook addictions, a few of them are from the loads of work that teachers just love to give and give and give without grading or collecting! oh yeah, its definitely nice knowing that after putting 6 hours into an english project, resulting in bed (aka sitting in couch on laptop, and falling asleep) at 1:30, that all your hard work was rewarded by no grade!

government.

i love this school system. so flakey and corrupt, i can just see how the government doesnt need to give us money....there is just so much toilet paper and paper to go around!! ahhh...now over this sarcasm rant....i dont see why this cannot improve. i mean seriously, all this lack of money while there are billion dollar governmental projects going on.... its just ridiculous. also, student placement is just more corrupt than the one before.

schedules.

i just cant explain in words how schedule changes work. i, who have had four schedule changes, have witnessed the worst of this. after taking two weeks of school to get my first change from errors, i immediately needed to get another due to "course easiness". finally, the school decides to level. leveling is the process of creating and dissolving classes to make the number of students in each class relatively equal. and when does the school like to level? 4 weeks into the year , yes, HALF A QUARTER, they decide to dissolve my class. NOW, after 9 weeks, a full quarter, they have decided to change my science teacher. very nice... hopefully next year i will not have to get any changes, because they are not fun. i particularly like my schedule now and hope some surprise schedule change...but yeah.

tlc.

oh yeah...that tender loving care? theres none at this school. I can say most schools include the phony "genuine care" or "individual growth" for each student in the mission statement, but no. this is not true, which is why i included the word phony. each teacher does not specifically do anything for you...they do not all individually care, and they definitely all do not care about your grades. if you fail, you fail, and thats the way it is. if you're gone, you're gone...and you better figure the work out.

the afterparty.

ok, so the things above are not fun, the afterparty is. nearly everyday, there is always an opportunity to go out to eat, hang out, or just talk. its so much fun because before, no ride allllll the time. now we can all just live our lives and not have to worry about the crucial question "i dont know if i can get a ride". its pretty much amazing on the weekends also because theres always something to do.

this is just the life(from 1:25 pm. 'til 5 in the morning) ,everything else is pretty much terrible.

so sorry its been a long time but i have lots of things to tell you about.

well, there was ecuador...

and then there was dc...

and then we all went back to school...

and now im sitting in my house waiting to go to new york on friday!!!

PYSICAL EDUCATION (is boring)

so, in order to have more than one elective next year, i need to take two semesters-worth of summer school. so, to go on vacation, i missed the first session. and now, i need to take morning and night classes (one for each semester). which means, i have 10 hours of summer school (pe.) a day!

time goes:

7: wake up

7:30 get to morning session

12:15 get picked up

4: go to afternoon session

8:45 get picked up

11: go to bed

, repeat.

so yeah thats life for july 6th-23rd

by the way, it sucks.

beach.

the beach (sorry, two weeks ago), was fun. we

had a fun time playing the wii and spending

time in the water. we also went to the fair

AND swapmeet, and even saw dolphins! yeah,

it was fun and the best part was the wii, haha

chris REALLY liked it.....here look.

so, there is a window in the shower and a

ledge on the inside (not out). and CHRIS! did

something very mean: he knocked all my stuff

out the window of the shower : ( ok, not every

thing but my shampoo. it fell 3 (three) stories

and shattered! o well, he owes me now.

the place we stayed at was cool, del mar for

all you guys who didnt know.and we stayed at

this condo place on a small beach. i want to

go again, here was one of the views....

oops, sorry//school still stuck in my mind. The spanish final extra credit just sticks (which i got an A+ on) . well, this is the life. im sooo excited that its summer cause WE ARE FREE! now we just stay up and do whatever we want: nightswimming, playing board games, watching tv, GUITAR HERO, y mas.

SOOOOOO...for example: i, carli, and mom played apples to apples.... at two (2) in the morning : ) it was one of the most fun nights we've had. lots of laughing and screaming made the game intense. theres nothing like spending the night / morning with the fam doing cool stuff. so fun.

it is the best. the best.

it is bittersweet, but its time.

i just cant believe its here, after the ten years ive attended the school i never thought it would end...but it is finally here and now instead of being a "mighty scorpion?" im a mighty grizzle. yeah. its sad though cuz now its all new and all new people, ill miss my friends but make new ones, and miss (some of) my teachers too. hahhaahahahahahaah.....its done. finally.

SO CLEVER.

oh. aubrey, you and your clever blogs. you and your crush. well right now i am watching an episode of HOUSE, the best show ever, and am talking to my crush, and reading aubreys blog, thinking of how smart she is, which inspired me to write. . i miss her and im ENVIOUS of mom cuz not only is she visiting the sis but is in my favorite city (NYC). i cant believe time at school is almost over, and then we can finally leave. have fun guys and im so ready to leave but dont want to. : ) bye.

EARTH HOUR

this week on MARCH 28 the entire earth will shut off their lights for ONE WHOLE HOUR. it is to make everyone know about global warming and the temperature change. Its really cool cuase a lot of really big and cool cities like NEW YORK, LAS VEGAS, DALLAS, LA, AND DC, not to mention the like 100 countries participating. SO DO IT! JOING AND TURN YOUR LIGHTS AND ELECTRICITY OFF FROM 8:30 TO 9:30 ON SATURDAY.

right now, we are reading a book in reading class named ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN. and you see it is a very difficult book to read because there is a certain character named

JIM. jim is huck's friend and they run away together on a raft. jim is very hard to understand because he is a slave and talks like this: (and i quote)

IS THE BEST. I FEEL BAD CAUSE SHE IS SO COOL BUT SHE LIVES ALL THE WAY IN the big apple,   NEW YORK CITY! i also feel bad because she always calls to talk, and i never call her. so, i heard this song and it reminded me of her, so i am writing this post about her while i listen to it. she is so funny (apparently told by others), and i guess now she reads cause  and now everyone wants her to color their hair in NY cause shes soooooo good.  so watch the video. its nice.

OVER THE HILL

this january 22, my dad turned 50!! yes, i cant believe he's so OLD but its funny because he will never be the kind to grow up. He is always playing jokes and cant be an old man. So, yeah, hes fifty. for my gift i gave him a card...AND some registration forms for AARP! it was soooo funny and you should have SEEN some other gifts he got...man they were funny. {a cane, some fake glasses, vitamins, and books}. my aunts, his sisters, threw him a party at the mexican restaurant VIVA MERCADOS. it was a blast cause he was surprised and there were like 100 people there he had grown up with and done so much with. We all told stories of our lives and stories with him, and you can only imagine to where they went. they went from laughing, to heartfelt, to 'I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!', to 'that was so fun'. The stories were great, the pictures were great, the food was great, the people were great, but he is sooo much GREATER. i love him, and hes funny, but cool, known at by my friends as 'dad who wears true religions' and by all the guys 16-30 as ' the unbeatable basketball/racquetball player' . hes the best and you all wish he was your dad. but hes mine. HA. gosh....'HALF A CENTURY!' as my sis aubs put it!
